A personal invitation to my new Canadian project
Helping Canadians cut through the noise with facts, context, and evidence.
Hello,
You’re receiving this because you subscribed to Discover Canada in Style, where I wrote about the incredible places, history, and stories that make Canada such a remarkable country.
Life has a way of taking us in unexpected directions.
Over the past few months, I’ve shifted my focus. While I still love Canada’s mountains, coastlines, small towns, and hidden gems, I’ve become increasingly concerned about something else: the future of Canada itself.
Today, I publish a newsletter called The Sanity Project.
Instead of travel destinations, I now write about the issues shaping the country:
• Canadian politics explained without the outrage.
• Energy and climate, backed by evidence rather than slogans.
• Canada’s economy and affordability.
• National security and our place in an increasingly uncertain world.
• Media literacy and separating fact from misinformation.
My goal isn’t to tell people what to think.
It’s to provide the context, research, and perspective that help people think more clearly for themselves.
If you enjoyed learning about Canada through Discover Canada in Style, I hope you’ll consider exploring Canada from a different perspective through The Sanity Project.
I’ve attached three recent articles that I think give a good sense of the style and approach I’m taking today. If they resonate with you, I’d be honoured if you subscribed.

Whether or not you decide to come along on this new journey, I want to sincerely thank you for being part of Discover Canada in Style. Your support over the past year meant a great deal to me, and I hope our paths cross again.
All the best,
